Duties & Responsibilities

Key roles and responsibilities:

Provide support to the site Cost Accountant in performing the following functions:

• Prepare and analyse daily diesel consumption.
• Compile, analyse and submit monthly production and stock reports.
• Prepare cost variance reports and identify any areas of concern or excessive expenditure.
• Monitor operational costs on site, including plant costs, machinery usage and hours and mining activity costs.

Desired Experience & Qualification

• BCom Management Accounting Degree from NWU
• Highly adaptable and resilient
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid South African driver’s license
• Computer literate and proficient in MS Excel
• Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast paced, remote site environment
