Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

Sales Performance & Business Development

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within the assigned territory.
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.
  • Generate and manage a consistent pipeline of sales opportunities.
  • Implement regional sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
  • Monitor market trends and adapt sales approaches accordingly.

Customer Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective customers.
  • Provide tailored product solutions to meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct regular customer visits and follow-up activities.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients within the region.

Market Development & Product Promotion

  • Promote products through presentations, demonstrations, and customer engagement.
  • Identify market opportunities and competitor activity.
  • Gather and report market intelligence to support business growth.
  • Strengthen brand presence within the assigned territory.

Sales Administration & Reporting

  • Prepare and submit sales forecasts and activity reports.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and sales information on CRM systems.
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Manage sales activities in line with company budgets and objectives.

Compliance & Professional Conduct

  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and industry regulations.
  • Ensure ethical and professional sales practices at all times.
  • Manage pricing, credit, and contractual risks appropriately.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum Requirements

  • Grade 12 / Matric.
  • Valid driver's licence.
  • Own reliable vehicle.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work with CRM systems. Advantageous
  • Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
  • 2–3 years' external sales experience within an industrial, manufacturing, engineering, automotive, woodworking, abrasives, or related environment.

Package & Remuneration

Package

  • Basic Salary: R25,000 per month
  • Cell Phone Allowance: R1,000 per month
