Duties & Responsibilities

Key Responsibilities:

• Deploy, configure, and maintain virtual servers across various hypervisor platforms
• Monitor and ensure high availability of cloud and on-premise infrastructure.
• Automate workflows and system processes where applicable.
• Provide technical support to the internal technical team, resolving hardware and software issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain computer systems, servers, and networks.
• Collaborate with the technical team on system implementations, upgrades, and maintenance.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues proactively.
• Ensure the security, integrity, and reliability of IT infrastructure.
• Maintain accurate system documentation and procedures.
• Respond to incidents and outages in a timely and professional manner.

Desired Experience & Qualification

Minimum and Ideal Qualifications

MCSE certification OR
Information Technology Diploma or Degree (or equivalent qualification)

Technical Skills and Experience:

• Experience with Hypervisors:
• VMware ESXi
• KVM
• Proxmox
• Xen

Cloud platform experience (at least one required):

• AWS (Amazon Web Services)
• Microsoft Azure
• Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

 

Strong Linux administration experience
Solid networking knowledge
Understanding of cloud infrastructure and virtualisation

Knowledge of automation tools is advantageous
