This role is ideal for an experienced mechanical engineer who wants to work on more than routine design work. You will help local and international engineering companies improve how they design products, manage engineering data, validate designs, and implement modern engineering technologies.
You will work across industries such as manufacturing, mining, automotive, defence, industrial equipment, product development, and advanced engineering.

Be exposed to advanced tools in simulation, data management, automation, and digital engineering.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver engineering consulting services to customers.
Conduct drawing office, CAD, and engineering process assessments.
Help customers improve design workflows, CAD standards, revision control, and engineering documentation.
Support engineering data management, PDM, and digital transformation projects.
Assist with SOLIDWORKS, PDM, 3DEXPERIENCE, and related engineering technology implementations.
Develop and review CAD models, drawings, BOMs, and technical documentation
Apply practical Design for Manufacturing principles.
Present recommendations, technical demonstrations, workshops, and training.
Required Experience and Qualifications
Mechanical or Mechatronic Engineering qualification.
5–7+ years’ experience in mechanical design, product development, manufacturing, or engineering systems.
Strong CAD experience, preferably SOLIDWORKS.
Good understanding of drawings, BOMs, revision control, manufacturing, and design release processes.
Comfortable working directly with customers, engineering managers, and technical teams.
Strong problem-solving, communication, and project delivery skills.
Advantageous:
Experience with PDM, PLM, ERP, or engineering data management systems
Drawing office management, CAD administration, or design team leadership experience
Exposure to FEA, CFD or other simulation tools
Experience with design automation, templates, workflows, or engineering process improvement
